Chapter 1 Apocalypse

 

The train collision had over 270 fatalities, and of of them was Derreck Sanders

A man, formally known ad Derreck Sanders, splashed in the water, the water waking him up from his "death"

He gasped as he got out of the water, wondering where he was

"Phew, the Brooklyn Bridge. I have a base here" he thought as he swam to shore

He has resurrected here before, and knew the shore to come out of the river, unnoticed and secluded. He got out and started walking to his base here, and Apartment he kept for decades. 

He made it to his apartment without being noticed. He had planned the routes for years and glad it hasn't changed. God forbid a kidnergarten opened on the route or something. He was glad the hidden key was still there too

He took a quick look around, glad the housekeeper as been keeping the place clean. He would hae it if he was paying her for nothing

He got onto his computer there and started it up, connecting to the internet. "Good, I only lost a day" he thought. He checked his e-mail and there was a ton of urgent e-mails. Mostly from Melissa, or as he knew her, Athena. "Kanga! Where are you? Are you ok? Are you a man this time?" she asked urgently. He smiled. 

The person e-mailing him was Melissa. She was Athena when they first met, of the Centurion of the 27th Legion of the Roman army. A vicious warrior bent on conquest, and rumoured lover of Ceasar

He was Kanga, fierce tribal leader. His people refused to be conquered. 

They fought long and hard. Ultimately, they fell to the Roman Empire

Kanga in turn, conquered Athena

But at the end, nobody resists the Romans. Kanga was personally ordered to be killed by Ceasar, who found out that he had fucked Athena, his lover

Kanga's penis was given to Athena as a warning, that he knew about Kanga. She stuffed it and kept it for many years, before she knew he could come back as another person.

Kanga found out that Athena was an immortal. A different type of immortal than he was. Unlike him that reincarnates in the nearest water in another body, her immortality was to heal and never die. She has lived for 2000 years longer than him.

They were lovers over the millenia, even when Kanga was a female

They were on enemy sides many times. Both were regularly accused of treason many times. But they became lovers whenever Kanga showed her who he was.

A few days later, they met in a burger joint that he liked. "Kanga?" the pretty brunette smiled

"Artemis! You.. like? You can name me again this time" the man said

"You look like an Ethan. Ethan Thomas. Is your.. cock large?" she asked. "Not as large as when I was Kanga" Ethan laughed

"So, you were in the train crash on the way here to New York?" Melissa asked

"Yeah. Fortunately I revived swimming in the Brooklyn River. There has been so many accidents lately" Ethan said

"You're right. Over the last few weeks, there was the American Airline flight that just exploded in mid air" Melissa said

"Then there was that Air France flight that exploded and disappeared over the Atlantic on the way to Chicago" she added

"And the Singapore Airlines flight to Asia that exploded on takeoff in New York" Ethan said. "They have no explanations that the President has grounded Air Force One" Melissa added

"Nasa's latest space shuttle exploded as well" Ethan said

"Then there was the Cruise Liner that sank in the Mediterranean" Ethan said

Just as they were talking about technology malfunctioning, a huge nuclear explosion exploded in New York city!

Simultaneously, a bomb exploded in Los Angeles too

Several other bombs exploded over several cities in the US

The US started launching their own rockets in retaliation

Having been attacked, the US attacked blindly, as their nuclear bombs exploded over Moscow

Beijing

Pyongyang

Tehran. The US didn't even know who hit them, they just retaliated against anyone and everyone

Melissa groaned. She slowly recovered and found everything around her destroyed and everyone dead. "Wha.. what happened?" Not realizing a nuclear blast went through the shop

She looked at "Ethan". Like everyone there, he didn't stand a chance. "Damn it. I never got to fuck him yet. He ws quite handsome this time" she thought. He didn't have a healing ability like hers. He will reincarnate in water, hopefully nearby

She slowly got up."Oh God, why is healing taking so long this time? It's like I'm smultaneausly getting hurt and my body is fighting it" she thought, not knowing her body was fighting radiation poisoning. "Kanga! I must get to the Hudsen River" she said as she remembered about her lover reincarnating

"What the hell happened?"she wondered as she walked down the ruined streets

"It's like we were hit by.. a....nuke" she said as she realized why she was healing so slowly

"Fuck" she said as she started running. She didn't want to face this on her own.

Over the centuries, Athena had been in thousands of wars. But she was a warrior, with supernatural healing and supernatural strength. Kanga was a good fighter and built up experience over the centuries. But a nuclear war was beyond their capabilities to react to

Kanga emerged as a Korean man

Looking around, he realized what happened. "Oh fuck" he said

He turned back to shore and saw Melissa waiting for him

She looked miserable, in the same dress the last he saw her as Ethan

The radiation was still so high, as he climbed to the shore, his skin lacerated and he vomitted blood

He struggled to get out of the water, and when he did, he looked at Melissa

But the pain and radiation was too strong. He shat blood and collapsed on the ground, dead. 

Melissa could only look at him in pity. Her own body was wracked in pain fighting the radiation. Like him, she could feel all pain, but she had a higher resistance to pain

Kanga reemerged out of the water again. She was a female this time, a indian girl

Again, she struggled to get to the shore. Being female, she was weaker than the Korean man

She instantly started vomitting blood, and her vagina and ass also shot out blood

She collapsed on the ground, dead 

He emerged again, this time as a latino man

Refusing to get up, he climbed to the shore

He roared, succesfully getting out of the river. His body was still burning, but he could resist it now. Perhaps he was gaining an immunity to radiation? But more likely the radiation was slowly going down

Melissa sat on the bench he saw her on earlier, this time with a radiation suit. She got one for him too. "You need a radiation suit?" he asked. "It's so my body can recover. Otherwise I'm constantly healing and burning" she said

"What a disaster"Armand, as Melissa named him, said. "I haven't seen a single person alive" she added as they walked hand in hand in the ruined streets

They got to her aparment, one of the many she owns. His own apartment had collapsed. There was no electricity or water. Armand looked like he was suffering from radiation poisoning. "You know where to find me if I die" he said

She removed her radiation suit, showing she was naked underneath. She lay on the bed and started touching herself. "Oh Kanga. The past few days have been so stressful. Fuck me" she said, 

:I want to.. but..but" he said

Then, his eye popped out as he has a stroke and died

"Damn, Back to the river, I guess" Melissa said

She had brought "Ethan" back to her apartment. He was already starting to rot

 

The Korean man was also rotting

Many months later, after flickering in and out of consciousness, dying many times, light skinned black girl with cornrows walked to shore. "Where is this?" she asked 

"This is Lake Superior. Not easy to predict your reincarnations. I figured that you reincarnate in the nearest large body of water. So I tried to keep your previous bodies alive until we got here. The radiation here is bareable. The geiger counter shows this place is safe" Melissa said

:This is Bayfield, Wisconsin. Scenic town with little to no radiation. I've lived here alone for two months now" Melissa said

"Alone? I thought it is safe to live here?" she asked. "Somehow everybody left, and died I suppose. I will call this body Sasha" Melissa said

They pulled by a house in the fire truck. The whole journey, they never saw a single person. "Nice house" Sasha said. "Thanks. Gets lonely though, at night" Melissa said

"I missed you so much. I need it badly. Too bad you're female this time" Melissa said

"Not something I can control, you know" she admitted. "I know. We've learnt over the centuries how to make love as women" Melissa said as they kissed

"We haven't made love with you as a woman for a long time. Since the 1930s wasn't it?" Melissa said.

They made love all night. "Did you know you are a virgin again. I can see your intact hymen" Melissa said in bed. "I always wondered about that, about gaining my virginity every time I revive" Sasha answered 

The next morning, they both got ready. "You said you saw some movement when you passed Chicago?" Sasha asked, getting dressed for battle

"You were suffering badly as that Asian guy, remember? I didn't want to look for you in Lake Michiganm so I gunned it and passed by" Melissa said

"Do you like my armory?" Melissa asked. "It's well stocked. Just the way you like it. Reminds me of the Korean war, remember?" Sasha asked

"Now, this is more like it. Lets go look for survivors in Chicago!" Sasha said. Sasha was a reincarnator. She retained her skills and memories of her previous lives. But she lost all her strength and training. 

"Good to see you ready for action again, Sasha. I missed that" Melissa said. Melissa on the other hand is a regenerator. She keeps all her skills and memories, yet she retains all her strength and training. This means she is several times stronger and more durable than a normal trained human being! She's practically superhuman. 

"This is the Armadillo. A heavily armed and armored fire truck, souped up to ram trough abandoned cars, yet with tyres able to withstand spikes and other hazards" Melissa said proudly

"Ready? To Chicago, then" Melissa said

"Let's go!" Sasha said as the Armadillo roared
